Recent forecasts from models including ECMWF and GFS indicate a high of 26°C as the most probable outcome for Milan on September 16, driven by an incoming low-pressure system and associated cloud cover that will limit daytime heating compared with the clearer, warmer conditions of the prior two days. Scattered thunderstorms and moderate easterly winds are expected to further cap peak temperatures near 24–27°C, consistent with the market’s heavy weighting toward 26–28°C. Historical September averages around 22–24°C provide baseline context, while ensemble spreads highlight modest uncertainty tied to exact rainfall timing and cloud thickness. Updated model runs and official Italian meteorological service guidance ahead of the date remain key variables for traders.
