Recent forecasts from sources including the Israel Meteorological Service and global models like ECMWF and GFS indicate afternoon highs in Tel Aviv on September 7 near 31–32°C under stable high pressure, light westerly winds, and partly cloudy conditions typical of late-summer eastern Mediterranean patterns. Model consensus shows limited spread, with peak values hinging on exact timing of maximum insolation, urban heat effects, and minor humidity variations that could nudge readings across the 32–33°C threshold. Historical September averages hover near 31°C, providing context for the tight market-implied odds between these two outcomes. No significant synoptic shifts, such as stronger sea breezes or increased cloud cover, appear likely in the next 48 hours, though updated model runs this weekend could alter the balance.
