Georgia's 13th congressional district remains a solidly Democratic seat, as reflected in trader consensus favoring the party by a wide margin ahead of the November 2026 general election. The Atlanta-area district's partisan voting index and 2024 presidential results establish a consistent Democratic advantage exceeding 18 points. Jasmine Clark secured the Democratic nomination with a primary majority, while Republican Jonathan Chavez, who previously received under 30 percent in the district, faces structural headwinds in voter registration and turnout patterns. A recent special election to fill the vacancy left by the late Rep. David Scott further confirmed limited Republican support, with GOP candidates combining for roughly 13 percent. Factors that could narrow the gap include an unforeseen national political shift, candidate withdrawal, or late legal developments, though historical base rates in comparable districts suggest these remain low-probability events before election day.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
