New Jersey’s 10th congressional district remains a reliably Democratic seat anchored by urban centers with consistent partisan margins exceeding 40 points in recent cycles. Incumbent LaMonica McIver secured the Democratic nomination in the June 2026 primary by a wide margin against limited opposition, while Republican Carmen Bucco faces minimal organizational or fundraising support. Nonpartisan analysts rate the race Solid or Safe Democratic, reflecting stable voter registration advantages and historical turnout patterns. Trader consensus at 95.5% for Democrats aligns with these structural factors. A realistic shift would require an unforeseen event such as a major incumbent scandal or health issue between now and November that alters local dynamics or depresses Democratic participation.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
