NY-10 encompasses a heavily Democratic New York City area with a Partisan Voter Index of D+32. Brad Lander secured the Democratic nomination in the June 23, 2026 primary, defeating incumbent Dan Goldman, while Jennifer Moore advanced unopposed on the Republican side. Forecasters across outlets rate the seat Solid or Safe Democratic ahead of the November 3 general election. Trader consensus at 97% for the Democratic Party reflects the district's consistent partisan lean, limited Republican infrastructure, and the absence of competitive dynamics or major developments that would alter the baseline. Late shifts would require extraordinary events such as a significant scandal or health issue affecting the nominee.
