The market-implied odds place the highest probability (55.5%) on a Houston high of 92-93°F for September 18, driven by the latest National Weather Service short-range forecast models showing a typical late-summer pattern with moderate Gulf moisture and onshore flow limiting daytime heating. Ensemble guidance indicates only modest spread, supporting the secondary 35.5% odds for 94-95°F while capping the chance of 96°F or higher at 5.5%, in line with climatological September maxima near 90-95°F and the absence of strong ridging or downslope winds. The next model update cycle will refine these projections ahead of peak afternoon temperatures.
