Latest National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs point to a San Francisco high near 70°F on September 18, with morning low clouds giving way to afternoon sun and moderate onshore flow. This aligns with the historical average high of 70.8°F and typical late-summer marine-layer influence that caps warming despite seasonal solar input. Trader consensus clusters on 70–73°F because westerly winds of 10–15 mph and dew points in the mid-50s limit further rise, while any delay in clearing or stronger sea breeze could hold readings in the upper 60s. Resolution hinges on official observations at key stations, with final forecast adjustments expected overnight.
