Recent forecasts from multiple models, including those aligned with Japan Meteorological Agency guidance, indicate a highest temperature near 32°C in Tokyo on September 2 under partly cloudy skies with light southerly flow and only modest humidity. This consensus, with minimal precipitation risk around 17%, has concentrated trader sentiment on the 31–32°C outcomes that together exceed 75% implied probability. Early September climatology shows typical highs near 29–30°C, yet persistent late-summer warmth and stable steering patterns support the slightly elevated readings. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will refine any adjustments from afternoon convection or wind shifts before resolution.
