Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model guidance indicate a stable marine layer with patchy fog and onshore flow holding overnight lows for Los Angeles near 67–69°F on September 24, supporting the market's leading 68–69°F outcome. Daytime highs are projected in the mid-80s under mostly sunny conditions, limiting further cooling, while historical September averages near 63°F provide context for why traders assign notable probability to 59°F or below. Differentiating factors include local variations in fog depth and timing at official stations like LAX versus inland areas, plus minor model spread in boundary-layer moisture. No significant weather systems are expected to disrupt the pattern before resolution.
