Current ensemble forecasts for Cape Town on September 15 point to a maximum near 17°C, with 16–18°C ranges favored amid widespread cloud cover, showers, and northwest winds exceeding 20–30 km/h. Persistent moisture advection and limited solar insolation under overcast skies are suppressing daytime heating relative to the mid-September climatological average of roughly 18–19°C. Model consensus shows modest variability tied to the exact timing of any partial clearing or rainfall intensity, which could shift the peak by 1–2°C. Updated runs from agencies like the South African Weather Service and global models will refine these details ahead of resolution.
