Recent numerical weather prediction ensembles for Guangzhou on September 15 indicate peak afternoon temperatures most likely between 32–35 °C under partly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms. Persistent moisture from the East Asian monsoon maintains high humidity that can suppress maxima, yet breaks in cloud cover allow brief solar heating episodes capable of pushing readings to 34 °C or slightly higher. The long-term September 15 average high stands near 32 °C, with historical outliers above 35 °C during drier years. Market-implied odds favor 34 °C as the mode, reflecting trader emphasis on the upper range of forecast spreads where reduced rainfall and lighter winds permit additional warming. Overnight model updates from global centers will refine the most probable maximum.
