Recent forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and global models indicate Lucknow's September 14 maximum will likely fall in the 31–34 °C range, consistent with the market's heaviest trading around 32 °C. Persistent monsoon moisture, easterly winds, and high humidity (70–75 %) are generating extensive cloud cover and scattered thundershowers that suppress peak heating, while partly cloudy breaks allow modest warming. Historical September averages near 32 °C and the absence of strong subsidence or clear-sky conditions further anchor expectations in this narrow band. Updated model runs through September 12 show limited day-to-day shifts, with any drier pockets potentially pushing readings toward 33 °C and heavier rain keeping them nearer 31 °C.
