**Forecast consensus from the National Weather Service and multiple models points to an overnight low in the upper 60s to low 70s for New York City on September 13, 2026, driven by a warm, humid air mass and widespread cloud cover ahead of showers and thunderstorms.** Persistent southerly flow and high dew points limit radiative cooling overnight, while expected rainfall from Saturday night into Sunday morning maintains elevated minimum temperatures. NWS forecasts for Central Park and area airports specifically cite lows near 68–69°F, with some guidance trending slightly higher into the low 70s amid the moist environment. This aligns with the market’s strongest implied probabilities on the 70–73°F bins, as traders weigh the limited cooling potential against typical early-September climatology. Updated model runs and NWS briefings through the evening of September 12 will refine exact overnight minima ahead of resolution.
