Tlaxcala’s 2027 gubernatorial race remains wide open more than ten months before the June vote, with traders assigning the highest probabilities to Raymundo Vázquez Conchas, Adriana Dávila Fernández, and several other declared or potential contenders from Morena and opposition parties. Term limits on incumbent Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros have opened the field, prompting multiple aspirants to position themselves through local legislative work, party endorsements, and early campaign activity. The fragmented field and absence of consolidated polling or formal nominations keep implied probabilities clustered in a tight range, reflecting uncertainty over which candidate will secure their party’s nomination and consolidate support in a state where Morena has held the governorship since 2021. Upcoming party conventions, primary processes, and any shifts in federal or state-level alliances could quickly alter the distribution of trader sentiment.
