National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to a high in the lower 90s for Atlanta on September 10, driven by mostly sunny skies, light southeast-to-southwest winds, and only a 20 percent chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms that could limit peak heating. Recent early-September warmth, with several days above 94°F, has given way to slightly cooler steering patterns, though temperatures remain above the 85°F climatological average. Trader emphasis on the 90-91°F and 92-93°F bins reflects this guidance, while low odds for 94°F or higher account for potential convective cooling and model spread typical this time of year. Updated NWS briefings tomorrow morning will refine the exact maximum before resolution.
