This market will resolve to "No" if no data is available by September 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.**Practical Magic 2** arrives in theaters September 10–11, 2026, after its London premiere on August 26, with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reprising their roles as the Owens sisters alongside returning aunts Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing. New additions include Joey King and Maisie Williams as the next generation, plus Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña, and Solly McLeod. Directed by Susanne Bier from a script by Akiva Goldsman, Georgia Pritchett, and Kelly Marcel, the film adapts elements from Alice Hoffman’s *The Book of Magic* and continues the family curse storyline. The original 1998 film’s low 27–30% Tomatometer reflected tonal inconsistencies despite strong audience affection and cult status. Trader sentiment for the sequel’s score centers on whether the legacy project can earn fresher notices through star chemistry, updated production values, and Bier’s direction, or if it faces similar critical skepticism common to long-delayed sequels. Early marketing and presales indicate solid fan interest, but critic reviews—expected to surface near release—will determine the final Tomatometer.
