Current forecast models from agencies like the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and NOAA’s GFS indicate a highest temperature near 23–24°C in Amsterdam on September 15, driven by moderate southwesterly flow under partly to mostly cloudy skies that limit strong diurnal heating while keeping minimums around 16–17°C. This consensus, with low precipitation chances below 25% and winds near 10–15 km/h, aligns with the market’s heavy weighting toward 24°C at 51% implied probability and 23°C at 29.5%, well above the 1991–2020 average high of 19.3°C for the date. Updated model runs overnight have shown little deviation, supporting trader positioning ahead of final observational data from Schiphol.
