Recent National Weather Service forecasts for New York City indicate overnight lows in the low-to-mid 60s Fahrenheit for the September 15–16 period under mostly clear skies and light southerly winds, positioning 64–65°F and 62–63°F as the leading market outcomes with combined implied probability above 70%. These conditions reflect a stable, mild air mass with minimal cloud cover allowing moderate radiational cooling, consistent with climatological averages near 62°F for mid-September. Model consensus shows little deviation expected before resolution, though any increase in wind or moisture advection could nudge the minimum slightly lower. Traders are weighting these near-term official guidance updates heavily ahead of the daily minimum reading.
