Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance points to a Tuesday high near 77–80°F for Denver, aligning with the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 78–81°F. A weak frontal boundary and modest moisture support scattered afternoon thunderstorms that could briefly suppress or briefly enhance peak readings depending on timing and coverage. This range sits just above the 1991–2020 September 22 average of 76.3°F, reflecting a transition from cooler early-week conditions without strong warm-air advection or clear-sky amplification. Model spread and storm timing introduce the main uncertainty, keeping probabilities on 82°F+ or sub-76°F outcomes below 10% each. Updated NHC and local forecast discussions expected in the next 24 hours will likely refine these thresholds ahead of resolution.
