Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a peak temperature near 36–37°C for Jeddah on September 11, aligning with the market's emphasis on 37°C at 43% implied probability. Typical September maximums average 37–38°C under the region's arid subtropical climate, driven by persistent high pressure, low humidity, and Red Sea moisture advection that limits extreme deviations. Current conditions show stable steering patterns with light westerly winds and minimal cloud cover, keeping intensification unlikely. Model spreads introduce modest upside risk for 38°C or higher (28%), while downside to 36°C (24.5%) reflects potential for slightly stronger onshore flow. Traders weigh these near-term observational updates against historical September ranges of 35–39°C.
