This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Munich Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 1 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eddm If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current forecasts for Munich on September 1, 2026, show a daily maximum around 22–23°C under stable, partly cloudy conditions with light westerly winds and low precipitation risk.** Multiple models, including GFS-based and ensemble outputs from sources like WeatherBug, The Weather Outlook, and others updated August 30, consistently project highs near 72–73°F (22–23°C), close to or slightly below early-September climatological norms of roughly 21–22°C for the city. This positions 23°C and 24°C as the leading market outcomes because numerical weather prediction runs emphasize modest daytime heating without strong advection of warmer air masses or clear-sky amplification. Minor model spreads and timing of any residual cloud cover explain the 45% and 24.5% implied probabilities for 24°C and 23°C, respectively, while lower odds for 22°C or 25°C+ reflect the narrow expected range and limited upside potential from current atmospheric patterns. With resolution imminent, any final model updates or observational tweaks in the next 48 hours could still influence exact peak readings within this tight band.
