Current forecast models from the National Weather Service and NOAA show the primary uncertainty in Dallas overnight low temperatures for September 3 centered on variable cloud cover, humidity levels, and weak frontal influences that could moderate radiational cooling. With market-implied odds clustered tightly around 76–81°F, traders are weighing ensemble guidance indicating typical early-September conditions where lows average near 72–78°F but can run several degrees warmer under elevated dew points or clearer skies. Recent model runs highlight subtle differences in boundary-layer moisture and wind patterns that differentiate the 78–79°F bin from adjacent ranges, with resolution hinging on updated short-range guidance expected within the next 24–48 hours.
