Recent National Weather Service forecasts for New York City point to an overnight low near 74°F on September 10 amid partly cloudy skies, light southwest winds, and elevated humidity that restricts radiative cooling. This aligns with the closely matched market-implied odds for the 72-73°F and 74-75°F bins, reflecting model uncertainty over exact cloud cover and wind timing that can shift the minimum by 1–2°F. Above-average September warmth and urban heat effects at the Central Park station further support these elevated thresholds versus historical averages near 63°F. Updated model runs and official observations overnight will refine the outcome.
