Kris Mayes holds a 64% implied probability as the Democratic incumbent seeking a second term in the November 3, 2026, Arizona attorney general election, reflecting her established position and recent polling leads of around eight points over Republican challenger Warren Petersen. Petersen, who secured the GOP nomination in the July 2026 primary with 56% against Rodney Glassman, trails at 34% amid trader assessments of the general election matchup. Primary outcomes and early September surveys showing Democratic advantages in down-ballot races have reinforced Mayes's edge, while the two-candidate general election field limits other outcomes. The November vote and any late shifts in voter sentiment on issues such as immigration enforcement and state-federal legal disputes remain key variables.
