The resolution source for this market will be information from the Hong Kong Observatory, specifically the "Absolute Daily Max (deg. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures in Celsius to one decimal place (eg, 9.1°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is initially published for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Forecast models from the Hong Kong Observatory and international sources indicate a maximum temperature near 29°C on June 18, 2026, driven by scattered thunderstorms and showers that limit daytime heating in Hong Kong’s humid subtropical climate. Seasonal outlooks project above-normal June temperatures overall, yet the immediate pattern features cloud cover and precipitation that typically caps peaks 1–2°C below the monthly average of 29–31°C. Recent model consensus shows limited upward revision potential unless clearer skies develop, keeping 28–30°C outcomes dominant while rarer extremes remain improbable given current steering patterns and moisture.
