Forecast models from agencies including the German Weather Service and GFS ensembles indicate mostly cloudy skies over Munich on September 18 with a high near 20–21 °C under light westerly flow and minimal precipitation risk. This aligns with the September climatological average high of 19.4 °C and recent model runs showing little day-to-day variability. The market’s concentration of implied probability on 21 °C (54.5 %) and 20 °C (25.5 %) reflects trader weighting of these stable outputs, while the smaller shares for 22 °C and above capture residual uncertainty in afternoon mixing and boundary-layer warming. Updated guidance expected overnight will likely anchor sentiment until resolution.
