The wide distribution of market-implied odds for Sao Paulo's September 24 high temperature reflects substantial forecast uncertainty typical of springtime transitions in southeastern Brazil. Latest ensemble runs from global models show the highest temperature likely settling between 18–21°C, driven by competing influences from a passing cold front and variable subtropical moisture. Official guidance from Brazil's INMET and international centers emphasizes potential afternoon warming if daytime heating overcomes lingering cloud cover, while cooler southeasterly flow could cap readings near 18°C. Historical September averages near 25°C provide context, yet recent model shifts highlight sensitivity to exact frontal timing and boundary-layer conditions. Traders will watch updated 00Z and 12Z model cycles plus INMET's morning briefing for resolution signals.
