Official forecasts from Environment Canada indicate a sunny high of 25°C for Toronto on September 5, supported by northerly winds and clear skies that limit daytime heating compared to the current 28°C peak. Recent model consensus shows a cooling trend from a high-pressure system, with afternoon temperatures likely peaking near 23–25°C depending on exact cloud cover and wind speed variations. Trader sentiment clusters on 24°C and 25°C outcomes because small differences in insolation or boundary-layer mixing could shift the daily maximum by 1–2°C, while historical September averages near 23–24°C provide context for the narrow probability spread. Updated short-range guidance expected in the next 24 hours will further refine these thresholds.
