Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to a typical late-summer pattern of high humidity, scattered convection, and easterly flow holding overnight lows near 80–82 °F for Miami on August 29. Persistent moisture and partial cloud cover limit radiative cooling after sunset, while the urban heat island and sea-breeze return flow keep the boundary layer warm. Minor differences among leading market outcomes (78–83 °F) hinge on exact timing and coverage of evening showers, slight variations in wind speed that affect mixing, and any model spread in dew-point forecasts. Stronger or earlier storms could enhance mixing and nudge the minimum slightly lower, whereas clearer intervals would favor readings closer to 82–83 °F.
