Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate Miami overnight lows on August 28 will likely settle in the upper 70s to low 80s, with trader consensus favoring 78–81°F ranges amid typical late-summer subtropical conditions. High dew points near 75–77°F, light easterly flow, and residual cloud cover from diurnal thunderstorms limit nocturnal radiative cooling, keeping minimum temperatures elevated relative to drier historical analogs. Urban heat island effects and sea-surface temperatures around 86°F further suppress drops below 78°F. Updated NWS point forecasts and ensemble runs showing 79–80°F overnight support the closely matched leading outcomes, though any increase in clear skies or wind could shift probabilities toward the lower bin before resolution.
