Russia's September 2026 State Duma elections feature a 5% proportional threshold for party-list seats, a barrier Yabloko has not cleared nationally since the early 2000s and last met with roughly 1.3% in 2021. Recent administrative measures have barred multiple Yabloko candidates, restricted leaders, and applied pressure tied to the party's anti-war positioning, limiting campaign reach and media access. National polling averages remain low, with one March survey showing around 3% overall support despite modest regional pockets and youth outreach. Systemic opposition dynamics and the dominance of United Russia and aligned parties further constrain independent liberal lists. Traders price these structural and recent constraints as making threshold clearance highly improbable ahead of the September vote.
