Recent National Weather Service and local forecast models indicate clearing skies and a ridge of high pressure over the central Rockies will deliver sunny conditions to Denver on September 26, supporting a daily maximum near 83–84 °F. After Thursday and Friday’s cloud cover and isolated thunderstorms suppressed temperatures, the shift to mostly clear skies allows stronger insolation and daytime warming. Forecast highs from NWS, Denver7, and WeatherBug cluster in the low-to-mid 80s, with minimal precipitation risk and light winds favoring the observed range. This places the 82–83 °F bin at the center of current trader consensus, while the modest probabilities attached to 84–85 °F and 86–87 °F reflect remaining ensemble spread and the small chance of slightly stronger downslope warming. Updated model runs and the final NWS forecast discussion ahead of the weekend will be the next key inputs for the market.
