Forecast models from NOAA and the National Weather Service indicate Miami's September 26 high temperature will likely fall in the mid-to-upper 80s, aligning with the closely matched market probabilities around 84–89°F. Late-September climatology favors daily highs near 88°F under typical subtropical high pressure, but variability stems from steering patterns, boundary-layer moisture, and any weak frontal influences or sea-breeze effects that can shift the peak by a few degrees. Ensemble guidance shows modest spread, reflecting inherent uncertainty in short-range predictions where small changes in cloud cover or wind direction alter maximum readings. Traders appear to price this scientific ambiguity evenly across the central bins while assigning lower odds to extremes outside historical norms for the date.
