**Forecast models from sources including the Meteorological Service Singapore and international agencies indicate a high of 32–33°C for September 2 under southwest monsoon conditions, with light southeast winds, moderate humidity near 70%, and scattered afternoon thunderstorms that typically limit extreme heating.** This aligns with Singapore’s September climatology of 31–32°C average daily maxima, though an ongoing El Niño episode has favored slightly warmer baseline temperatures and reduced rainfall across the region. Recent model runs show limited spread, with peaks most often projected near 33°C during peak afternoon hours before convective activity develops. Trader consensus at these levels reflects the narrow uncertainty range in short-term guidance and the low historical frequency of 34°C+ readings in early September absent stronger subsidence.
