Current forecast models from multiple sources indicate a minimum temperature near 16–17°C for Cape Town on September 22, driven by moderate westerly to northwesterly winds, partly cloudy skies, and the moderating influence of the cool Benguela Current along the Atlantic coast. Spring transition brings variable conditions, with potential for brief berg wind warming or cold front passages that could shift overnight lows by several degrees. Historical September minima average around 12°C, yet recent above-normal warmth and model agreement favor milder readings near the market’s central outcomes. Fresh model updates and official South African Weather Service guidance will clarify steering patterns and any late adjustments ahead of the 24-hour observation window.
