Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance indicate a Tuesday overnight low in Dallas of 73–76°F under partly cloudy skies with light northeasterly flow, establishing the mid-70s as the consensus range and driving the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 74–79°F. This reflects modest radiational cooling beneath building high pressure following earlier moisture, tempered by dew points near 65–70°F that limit further temperature drops. Historical September minima average near 69°F, yet persistent warmth aloft and limited wind mixing support the current elevated baseline. Traders are monitoring the next NWS update and any shifts in short-range guidance for adjustments ahead of the 22nd minimum reading.
