**Cooler northeast winds and a building high-pressure wedge are pulling a drier, autumn-like airmass into Atlanta, driving the tight split between 76°F+ and 57°F-or-below outcomes.** Official NWS guidance and multiple model runs project overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s on the night of the 23rd–24th under partly cloudy skies and light easterly flow, near or slightly below the 63°F climatological average. Radiational cooling under clearing conditions and reduced mixing from the stable wedge setup favor the lower end of the range, while any stronger winds or lingering moisture could limit the drop. Traders appear balanced between these scenarios because model consensus remains close and the final minimum depends on exact wind speeds and cloud cover through dawn. New NWS forecast updates and the next model cycle will likely resolve the narrow gap.
