Recent polling aggregates show the BC NDP leading the Conservatives by a few points, with the BC Green Party holding steady in third at 10-13% support and projected for a small number of seats. The Conservative Party's recent leadership turmoil—including Kerry-Lynne Findlay's resignation, multiple MLA defections to the short-lived CentreBC, and subsequent reunification efforts—has fragmented the right-leaning vote without elevating any other party above the Greens in surveys. This dynamic, ahead of the NDP-called snap election on October 24, reinforces trader consensus around the Greens as the most probable third-place outcome while leaving limited room for minor parties such as OneBC or CentreBC to challenge that position.
