PAM leads trader consensus in the Morocco legislative elections market ahead of the September 23 vote for the 395-seat House of Representatives, reflecting its strong candidate recruitment across nearly all districts, recent high-profile additions, and positioning amid coalition strains within the current RNI-led government. Tensions surfaced in June when PAM and Istiqlal aligned with opposition calls for inquiries on key issues, highlighting fractures that traders appear to weigh against RNI’s incumbency advantage from 2021. Broader voter concerns over employment, living costs, and public services dominate the campaign, with 27 parties contesting under the list-based system. Lower probabilities for PJD, PI, and smaller formations align with their recent seat totals and limited momentum in the final week of campaigning.
