Morocco's September 23, 2026, legislative elections for the 395-seat House of Representatives remain highly competitive, with trader consensus reflecting a fragmented field where the ruling National Rally of Independents (RNI) coalition and opposition parties like the Justice and Development Party (PJD), Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP), and others hold comparable implied probabilities. The incumbent RNI-PAM-Istiqlal (PI) alliance, which secured the largest blocs in 2021, faces internal transitions including RNI leadership changes ahead of the vote, while parties prepare candidate lists and respond to calls for electoral reforms such as youth quotas and ethical candidate standards. Low youth registration and turnout historically, combined with ongoing consultations on the voting framework led by the Interior Ministry, contribute to uncertainty over mobilization and coalition negotiations. Scheduled campaign activity in September and potential shifts in alliances or public priorities could still widen gaps among contenders before polls close.
