Forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models point to a daily low near 66°F at Los Angeles International Airport on August 30, 2026, following moderation from a late-August heat wave under persistent high pressure and weak onshore flow. This drives tight clustering in the 64–71°F bins, as traders weigh variables including marine layer depth, sea-breeze onset timing, and overnight radiational cooling rates that can shift the minimum by a degree or two. Historical August lows average around 65°F with limited model spread, leaving little support for extremes below 62°F or above 70°F while underscoring the genuine uncertainty in precise boundary-layer evolution.
