Any revisions to precipitation recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.National Weather Service observations at Central Park observatory confirm approximately 2.3 inches of total precipitation for April 2026, placing the outcome squarely in the 2-3 inch bracket and yielding market-implied odds of 100% for this range, reflecting trader consensus backed by verified measurements to two decimal places. Persistent high-pressure ridging suppressed storm activity throughout the month, limiting rainfall accumulation to 2.12 inches through April 27, with negligible additions from dry conditions on the 28th-30th—well below the 1991-2020 climatological normal of 3.6 inches. While inherent measurement uncertainties exist, realistic challenges would require rare NOAA post-audit revisions exceeding 0.1 inches; the final monthly climate summary from NWS is expected soon to solidify resolution.
