Sweden's September 13 parliamentary election delivered vote shares that positioned the Sweden Democrats firmly for third place in the Riksdag seat count. Social Democrats led with roughly 28 percent, securing first, while Moderates followed at about 20 percent for second. Sweden Democrats received around 17.5 percent, ahead of Left Party, Centre Party, Greens, Christian Democrats, and Liberals. This ordering aligned with late polling trends showing the Sweden Democrats trailing the two largest parties but comfortably above smaller blocs. Overseas and remaining ballots could adjust margins by a few seats, yet projections indicate no realistic path for another party to overtake the Sweden Democrats without unprecedented swings. Trader consensus reflects the stability of these confirmed results pending final certification.
