This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Trump administration declassifies any files pertaining to extraterrestrial life and/or unexplained aerial phenomena which were not previously publicly available between market creation and the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". For purposes of this market, the “Trump administration” includes the Executive Office of the President and all executive branch departments, agencies, and subordinate offices under presidential authority during the Trump presidency, including the Department of Defense and its components. Announcements of declassifications that are not implemented within this market’s timeframe will not count. The primary resolution source for declassification will be official information from the government of the United States; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.President Trump’s February 2026 directive ordered federal agencies to identify and declassify records on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), leading to the launch of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) portal. The Department of War has since issued six rolling tranches of files between May and September 2026, including historical documents, videos, and imagery from agencies such as the Department of Defense, NASA, FBI, and ODNI, with the sixth release on September 18 featuring 1952 footage and AAWSAP-related materials. A September 14 legal waiver further enables current and former personnel to share UAP information with PURSUE representatives without prior nondisclosure agreement restrictions. Releases continue on a scheduled rolling basis with no confirmed extraterrestrial evidence to date, while additional tranches and potential whistleblower input remain key variables for further declassifications.
