**Stable high-pressure conditions and clear skies are positioning 30°C as the most likely daily high for Ankara on September 3, 2026, with market-implied odds reflecting tight consensus around 29–31°C.** Multiple forecast models, including those from the Turkish Meteorological Service (MGM) and international sources, show sunny to mostly clear conditions with light northeasterly winds and minimal cloud cover, supporting efficient daytime heating under September's lengthening nights and moderate humidity. Ankara's elevation near 900 meters typically caps extremes, and current guidance places the maximum near the early-September climatological average of roughly 27–30°C. Recent model runs have shown little day-to-day drift, with no incoming fronts, significant moisture, or wind shifts expected to alter the thermal profile before resolution. This stability explains why traders assign the bulk of probability to 30°C (53.5%) and 31°C (25%), while lower or higher outcomes remain marginal. Fresh forecast updates from agencies like NOAA/ECMWF analogs and local observations will be the next key inputs likely to influence positioning ahead of the date.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=ltac
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
