Official National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas on August 28 project a high near 99°F under mostly sunny skies with light easterly winds and heat indices up to 106°F, consistent with the market's leading 98-99°F outcome at 52% implied probability. Persistent high pressure and seasonal warmth typical of late-summer Texas have kept recent daily maxima in the upper 90s to low 100s, with minimal model divergence supporting trader focus on the narrow 98-101°F band that accounts for 83% of probability. Minor variations in dew points or afternoon mixing could nudge readings toward 100-101°F, while historical averages near 95°F underscore the current elevated baseline without recent shifts altering the outlook.
