SpaceX's completed June 2026 IPO at a $1.77 trillion valuation, with shares opening above $2 trillion, underpins the narrow 56.1% market-implied odds favoring it over OpenAI. Traders weigh SpaceX's realized public debut—bolstered by Starlink scale, AI cloud infrastructure deals, and revenue acceleration—against OpenAI's confidential S-1 filing and subsequent delay. OpenAI's last private round valued it at $852 billion, with CEO Sam Altman insisting on a $1 trillion threshold that has pushed any listing into 2027 after the September 2026 window passed. Key catalysts include OpenAI's revenue trajectory from ChatGPT subscriptions and enterprise APIs, potential regulatory or competitive shifts in large language model deployment, and any updated guidance on IPO timing or valuation targets that could narrow or widen the gap.

Resolution will be based on the primary exchange’s official listing page. In the event that the relevant figure is not displayed, another reliable source will be used.
In the event of an interruption in the course of the normal trading session on the respective companies’ first day of trading (e.g., a circuit breaker or half-day), the market will resolve according to the official closing price of the abbreviated session. If no such official closing price is published, the market will resolve according to the next trading day on which an official closing price is published, treating that as the first day of trading.
