Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a shift to easterly winds and a 40-50% chance of showers or thunderstorms on September 4, which would limit daytime heating and keep highs near or below seasonal norms around 80°F. Lake Michigan's cooling effect could further cap temperatures near the shoreline in the low 80s while inland areas reach the upper 80s, creating a narrow but uncertain range. With no dominant high-pressure ridge and mixed model signals on storm timing and coverage, traders have assigned roughly equal implied probabilities across the 82-89°F bins, reflecting the sensitivity of the daily maximum to these variables rather than any single confirmed outcome. Updated forecast discussions and morning model runs will likely narrow the distribution ahead of resolution.
