Current forecast consensus from NWS and multiple models points to an overnight low in the mid-50s Fahrenheit for New York City on September 24, driven by persistent northeasterly winds of 10–20 mph advecting cooler maritime air under partly to mostly cloudy skies. This setup limits radiational cooling while keeping daytime highs near 66–68°F, positioning the 54–55°F range as the strongest market-implied outcome at 38% probability. Traders appear to discount warmer bins above 60°F or colder extremes below 50°F given the stable pattern and absence of significant model shifts in the latest runs, with resolution hinging on official Central Park observations.
