General elections to elect the 93 members of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia are scheduled to take place on October 24, 2026. This market will resolve according to the political party that wins the third-greatest number of seats in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia as a result of this election. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". Parties will be primarily ranked by the number of seats won in the specified election. If two or more parties are tied on seats, ties will be broken by the total number of valid votes received, with higher vote totals ranking higher. If parties remain tied, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the listed party names. This market will resolve to the party that occupies the third finishing position after applying this ranking. This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party. A candidate will be considered a member of the party they contest the election under. This market will resolve based on the results of the elections, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. In the case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on the results as reported by Elections BC (https://elections.bc.ca/).**Recent polling ahead of British Columbia’s snap provincial election on October 24, 2026, shows the BC NDP and BC Conservatives as the clear top two parties, with the BC Greens positioned as a distant but consistent third.** Latest surveys from Angus Reid, Ipsos, Research Co., and Liaison place NDP support at 41–45 percent and Conservative support at 35–37 percent, while Greens register 10–13 percent. Smaller parties including CentreBC and OneBC poll in the low single digits. The snap election call by Premier David Eby on September 22 triggered rapid realignment on the centre-right, including the resignation of Conservative leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay, the appointment of interim leader Lorne Doerkson, and the return of several MLAs from the short-lived CentreBC grouping to the Conservative caucus. These shifts have consolidated opposition votes without materially boosting smaller parties. Greens maintain steady but limited support concentrated in specific ridings, leaving little room in current vote intention data for another party to overtake them for third place. Trader pricing reflects this polling hierarchy and the limited remaining campaign window for major shifts.
