**Forecast models indicate a cooler-than-average day for Ankara on September 17, 2026, with cloud cover, possible thunderstorms, and limited solar heating expected to cap the daily maximum near 19–22°C.** Recent observations show temperatures trending downward after mid-September warmth, with overnight lows in the mid-teens Celsius and daytime peaks suppressed by increased moisture and instability. Multiple sources, including PredictWind, WeatherBug, Yr.no, and Met Office guidance, converge on a high of 21–24°C but highlight 70–80% precipitation chances and mostly cloudy conditions that reduce insolation and evaporative cooling effects. Ensemble spreads place the most probable outcomes in the 19–21°C range, consistent with the closely matched market-implied odds (20°C at 25.5%, 21°C at 21.5%, 19°C at 19.5%). Differentiating factors include steering patterns favoring northerly or variable flow, dew points supporting convective activity, and model agreement on timing of any showers during peak heating hours. Historical September averages near 24–26°C underscore the current pattern’s cooling influence. Traders monitor final model runs and official Turkish Meteorological Service updates for any last adjustments before resolution.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=ltac
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
